Central Florida Public Affairs Announces Robbie Vogan as Government Affairs Advisor

Vogan to lead efforts at the local and state level for the Orlando-based firm that specializes in government relations and community engagement.

Orlando, Fla. – Central Florida Public Affairs (CFPA), one of the Orlando region’s fastest-growing government relations firms, welcomes Robbie Vogan as Government Affairs Advisor. Vogan brings his dynamic and unique perspective to CFPA as well as his exceptional research and negotiation capabilities. In his new role, Vogan will contribute to public policy efforts at the local and state level and will manage political and legislative affairs on behalf of the firm’s clients.

“I’m thrilled to join CFPA’s exceptional team,” said Vogan. “Building on Sharon Smoley’s incredible success, we’ll drive even more positive change for Central Florida.”

Since its founding in 2021, CFPA has secured victories for a prestigious client base, including Fortune 100 companies, leading sports and entertainment agencies, and specialized industry firms. Vogan joins Smoley and Senior Policy Advisor Rachael Kobb, both seasoned lobbyists who bring their clients winning local government and community relations strategies while building powerful coalitions to tackle complex issues.

Prior to joining CFPA, Vogan served in the offices of several State Senators, including Jason Brodeur (R-Lake Mary) and Keith Perry (R-Gainesville). Recognized for his strategic acumen, Robbie played pivotal roles in securing substantial appropriations and advancing key legislative priorities in areas such as the environment, agriculture, and child welfare.

“Robbie brings a wealth of experience in public policy, government affairs, political strategy, and campaign management,” said Smoley, founder and CEO of CFPA. “Robbie has garnered recognition for his innovative approaches to legislative and campaign advocacy. Across the last three election cycles, he was instrumental in pivotal roles within the largest State Senate campaigns in Florida’s history. He brings those same strategic skills to bear on behalf of our clients.”

In his most recent role as Director of Public Affairs for a child welfare non-profit, Robbie led policy initiatives at local, state, and federal levels, resulting in significant funding allocations to support families in need.

A native of Seminole County, Robbie is deeply rooted in Central Florida. He graduated from the University of Central Florida’s Burnett Honors College with a BA in International and Global Studies, where he also distinguished himself as a published researcher. It was during his time at UCF that he met his wife, Rachel. They currently reside in Orlando, contributing actively to the community they call home.
